Practical and Theoretical Innovations for Equalization of Basic Public Services

Abstract: In different historical periods, the Party has always made guaranteeing and improving people's livelihood the most important item on the agenda according to the historical conditions and development environment at those times, put forward practical and effective policies and measures, united with the people and led them in striving for it. The equalization of basic public services is not only an important measure for the Party to solve the problems about people's livelihood by adhering to the bottom line thinking and deal with the problem of unbalanced and insufficient development, but is also the basic content of the Party's strategic thought on realizing common prosperity. The history of promoting the equalization of basic public services is the history of the Party following the people-centered development concept, constantly addressing the most direct, realistic and urgent problems affecting the people and responding to their expectations. The history of promoting the equalization of basic public services is also the history of the Party adhering to the people-centered development concept and constantly enriching and developing Marxist theory in the 21st century based on China's reality.
